Valentina Giovando is an artist from the Liguria region of Italy. She recycles and remakes antique objects to which she bestows a new life and new personality. Her basic materials are ordinary objects of every kind: screws, rivets, broken glass, bits of wood, buttons, old fabric - the resources are unlimited! Both artist and artisan, Giovanda draws upon a creativity which enables her to redefine the function, the beauty and the essential life of these basic materials. And it goes almost without saying that her creations are part and parceel of the greater Italian aesthetic tradition of embodying tenderness, irony, and sensuality in the ordinary objects of everyday life.

The Valentina Giovando Collection includes tables, chairs, diverse pieces of furniture, lamps, chandeliers, and accessories. All in all it's surprising and delicious!
