American born residential furniture designer, sculptor, and artist, who is famous for his contributions to American furniture design and the American craft Movement of the 1970s. He trained as a silversmith, and also learned the art of the goldsmith and blacksmith. His innovative mind eventually led him to creating extraordinary metal furniture.
