Kati Leede was raised in Midland, TX in a large family whose motto was and is "We don't do dinky!" Leede attended Phillips Academy Andover, graduated Dartmouth College as a Theatre Arts Major, and then became an equity actor in New York as well as a hat designer. In 2001, Katie stumbled into the interior design business when one of her many wonderful friends insisted she needed Katie's help on her Bel-Air home. Since then, Katie's love of art, books, nature, film, museum hopping, world traveling, and of all things bold and beautiful has informed every aspect of her design work, which includes interiors, textiles and furniture. Known for her fearless use of color, antique textiles and exquisite furniture, Katie infuses her projects with a flair for the fun and exotic and her keen attention to detail.
