Amy Butler is currently one of the most successful American textile designers. A native of the Midwest she began making small bags in Kansas City in the late 80's. Since 1992 she has been living in Ohio. Looking at her creations one feels a sense of peace and harmony. Avoiding the conventions of fashion her designs seem as though they've always exitsted. Inspired by nature and rooted in the long tradition of classical textile design her style inspires optimism.
