Georg Jensen was a Danish designer and a silversmith. He started studying sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. In 1898 he founded a small pottery workshop with Christian Petersen. In 1904 he opened his own silversmith worshop in Copenhagen. Soon he was successful.
