he was a Danish furniture desigber who studied with Kaare Klint at the Royak Art Academy. His father was an art history teatcher. He thought that a designer must learn art history and he wrote many books about furniture history. Although Ole Wanscher took great interest in industrially made furniture and designed several pieces with this in mind, his finest work were made in collaboration with master cabinetmaker A. J. Iversen.
