Emmanuelle Moureaux is a contemporary French architect who settled in Tokyo, Japan, in 1996. She's received many prizes such as "Best Store of the Year" and the "15th CS Design Award" in 2008. Her style, although pared down to simple, essential lines is anything but cold and distant. She has an extraordinary feel for light and color, incorporating a rainbow of hues in her work which is often reads as whimsical and elegant at the same time. Glass and lucite figure importantly in her creations and lend a sense of effervescent life. |
