Born and raised in New York City, Joe Nahem graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris where he studied under celebrated designers such as Joe D’Urso and John Saladino. Together with his late partner, Tom Fox, he founded Fox-Nahem. Their fresh and creative work was immediately recognized by The New York Times with a full-page cover story in the Home section featuring the renovation and decoration of a New York residence. Fox-Nahem has been fortunate to have worked with or on buildings by such renowned architects as Stanford White, Richard Meier, Robert Stern, Paul Rudolph and Skidmore Owens & Merrill - the firm’s involvement has ranged from architectural consulting to collaboration as needed.
