Glen Oliver Löw, born 1959 in Leverkusen, earned his industrial design diploma at Wuppertal University. In 1986, he earned his Master of Design at the Domus Academy in Milan. From 1987 to 2000 he designed products in partnership with Antonio Citterio in Milan for, among others, Ansorg, Flos, Iittala, Kartell, Vitra and Vitrashop. In 1996 he was in charge of the development of a new branch office concept for Commerzbank in the Studio Antonio Citterio and Partners, and in 1998 he was responsible for the interior design concept of the Smart Centers for DaimlerChrysler. He opened his own design studio in Hamburg in 2000 and since then has been developing products for, among others, Thonet and Steelcase. In addition, he teaches product design and development at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg.
