Interior Design in San Francisco

As far as design goes, San Francisco has a lot to offer. At the San Francisco Design Week (sponsored by ADOBE, a little reminder that we're just at the gates of Silicon Valley) their mission statement is "Design Makes a Difference" and here everybody knows it. What is striking in San Francisco is that modernity and innovation come with strong roots in the past, as evidenced by its architecture. Two designers we like, Charles de Lisle and Ken Fulk, offer an excellent illustration of the style that separates San Francisco from L.A.

Charles de Lisle Workshop was created in June 2009. Charles's background experience includes an eighteen year history of ceramics, welding and fabrication, product/lighting design, brand conception, spa, hotel, and residential design.

San Francisco Decorator Showcase at Herbst Manor

His choices in modern art and decorative objetcs are reminders that Charles de Lisle has a craftsman's background.

Ken Fulk is an interesting young interior designer based in San Francisco. His style is creative, eclectic and free. His ability to put together objects of any kind and from any time, and to play with light and colour to create dramatic effects, is impressive.
