A CHINESE EXPORT ARMORIAL EGGSHELL SOUP PLATE CIRCA 1730-35 painted in the center with the arms of Van Hardenbroek within a grisaille and oxidized silver cable roundel repeated around the inner edge of the rim above a grisaille fretwork border of ruyi lappets, the similarly patterned rim interrupted with brown tree squirrels, famille-rose birds and oxidized silver and gold butterflies and floral sprigs.21.4cm
