French Guilloche Enamel, Champlevé and 'Jeweled' Brass Mantel Clock Japy Frères, Retailed by Spaulding & Co., Chicago & Paris, First Quarter 20th Century Having a two-train movement striking on a gong, the dial signed Spaulding & Co./ Chicago & Paris, within a rectangular glass and brass case with champlevé bandings, the door and dial mounted with green and colorless glass "jewels", the green guilloche and polychrome decorated face plate depicting three ladies signed P. Thevenot. Some cracks to face plate; some cracks to glass on side of case. Height: 13-1/4 in (33.7 cm)
