A MEISSEN (MARCOLINI) CANDLE-SNUFFER CIRCA 1800 Of conical form surmounted by a gilt fruiting finial, painted with pink flowers and green buds above the inscription Gute Nacht. in black script and a guilloche-moulded footrim, the reverse with an arched angular handle with channelled sides (slight flaking to gilding)
