A FAMILLE ROSE-DECORATED GREEN-GROUND COVERED BOWL DAOGUANG SEAL MARKS IN IRON RED AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850) The bowl with steep sides rising to a slightly flared rim, the exterior enameled with a continuous design of lotus sprays and pendent chimes alternating with gold shou characters between bats and endless knots, all reserved on a lime-green ground between stylized lappets at the base and a ruyi-head border circumscribing the rim, the cover decorated in similar fashion below the slightly flared finial, the interior covered in turquoise enamel, as is the base and interior of the finial surrounding the seal marks 4
