Ranch House designed by Eero Saarinen

Ranch House designed by Eero Saarinen

This house was designed in 1952 by Eero Saarinen (1910-1963) for J. Irwin Miller and his wife Xenia Simons Miller. In 2009 the house, with its garden and its original furnishing, was donated by the Miller family to the Indianapolis Museum of Art. It offers an excellent illustration of mid 20th century modernist ideals in architecture.
