This chair was designed by Albert Van Huffel (1877-1935.)
He was a Belgian architect . Albert Van Huffel studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. Between 1896 and 1912 he practiced various jobs: painter, decorator, carpenter, mason, glazier. Between 1895 and 1904, the Group Art and Knowledge had a significant influence on his work. From 1912 to 1920 he was artistic director at the Brussels company L'Art Decoratif C. Dangotte .
