A RARE FAMILLE ROSE CYLINDRICAL BRUSH POT DAOGUANG SEAL MARK IN IRON RED WITHIN A DOUBLE SQUARE AND OF THE PERIOD (1821-1850) The sides decorated in famille rose enamels with butterflies, grasshoppers and a praying mantis amidst the branches of a flowering plant, with a morning glory and dragonfly on the reverse, all between continuous borders of alternating endless knot and wan emblems in pale blue outlined in dark blue, the interior and base in turquoise enamel, gilt rim 4 5/8 in. (11.7 cm.) high
