A PAIR OF MEISSEN KAKIEMON TEACUPS AND SAUCERS CIRCA 1740, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, PRESSNUMMER 2 TO SAUCERS After a design by Johann Gregorius Höroldt, each piece painted with an exotic bird with a long blue tail perched on a puce branch issuing from stylised rocks and with branches of flowering peony and chrysanthemum, brown line rims (one saucer with minute rim chip and glaze flake, very minor wear to enamels of saucers and rims) (2)
