A PAIR OF THURINGIAN TWO-HANDLED TOPOGRAPHICAL BOUGH-POTS AND COVERS CIRCA 1815, ATTRIBUTED TO PÜOßNECK Each with richly-gilt upright foliate scroll handles, the spreading necks moulded with down-turned gilt stiff-leaves, the bodies painted with views within gilt band rectangular cartouches and named below in black script, the left vase with Ansicht von Lehma Westlich. and Der Erinnerung heilig, the right vase with Ansicht von Lehma Nördlich. and Amaliens Höhe. Nördlich., the lower parts with up-turned gilt stiff-leaves on spreading gilt circular feet, the circular gilt covers each with seven circular apertures (one cover cracked and repaired, one with footrim chip, some rubbing to gilding) 12 7/8 in. (32.7 cm.) high
