Refurbished farmhouse in Provence
Bartos house is a 17th century farmhouse that was completely refurbished by the Italian architect Claudio Silvestrin. Typical of the minimalist style of Claudio Silvestrin its design is clearly influenced by the great Roman Provencal abbeys of the 13th century. Silvestrin has gone far beyond the simple crafting a spare environment; he's succeeded in creating a meditative space, one that breathes without form.
