”Les voiles de Saint Tropez “ is a world famous event for fans of traditional yachts. Created in 1981 it originally was named “Nioulargue” after a buoy around which the boats turned situated very close to one of Saint Tropez’s most fashionable beaches. The last week of September each year this sailing event gathers a fleet of more than 1000 competing crafts , among which can be found the most beautiful traditional yachts as well as immense modern boats such as the Wallys.
